Ever since the Royal Wedding (talk about trends—Princess Catherine is THE sight on the celebrity circuit these days), everyone’s talking about England again…and with the Olympics coming up next summer, it doesn’t seem like the trend’s going away anytime soon.

Whenever I’m in London trendspotting or meeting with some of my private cosmetics manufacturing clients, I stay at my favorite hotel, the absolutely fabulous Baglioni. It’s very much on the “in” list, too—last time I was a guest there, so was Mariah Carey!

On the southern corner of Hyde Park—not all that far from the Royal residences at Kensington Palace—the hotel’s Georgian architecture houses some wonderfully posh interior design, including a cascading water fountain, impeccable stone floors, and gigantic gold vases spilling over with enormous white roses. The rooms are fantastic, too, and I just never, ever want to leave them… Gorgeous Home Décor trend insight !
